“The Basement” is an innovative space that is architecturally and medially equipped for many different scenarios and usage situations. It is open to everyone who wants to try out digital education for themselves, explore it and shape it critically and reflectively with one another. It is about more than the handling of digital technologies; the focus is on the question of how digital media change schools and educational processes, for example with regard to participation opportunities, role understandings and data flows. In various formats, academics, students, teachers, parents, head teachers and educational software developers can exchange ideas, learn from each other and reflect on solutions for open (digital) learning processes.
